Since its founding in 1921, HARIO has engaged in the design, manufacture and sales of heat-resistant glass. And now, it is a heat-resistant glass manufacturer with the only factory in Japan.

HARIO began the history as a manufacturer of laboratory glassware. In 1964 they began with coffee siphon and expanded production to household items.
We began manufacturing lenses for automobile headlights since 1980. Today, we continue to make various products ranging from microwaveable kitchen utensils, coffee and tea tools to aromatherapy and pet supplies.

HARIO’s heatproof glass is manufactured in a ISO9001/ISO14001 approved factory, the Koga Factory.
It is the only heat-proof glass factory in Japan.
